To me this is one of the sweetest songs Stevie wrote. The emotions are strong and understood throughout
the song and especially at the end as Stevie expresses it with a chilling lead. This Song was
written about a good friend of Stevie's, Charley Wirz. who died in 1984. "Life without you" is a song about
dealing with the loss of his good friend.
The guitar Stevie choose to play on"Life without you" was one of the guitars given to him in 1984 by
Charley Wirz.
Stevie named the guitar Charley in his honour.
